Our Social Programs
Our CareyForward employee volunteer program honors our late Founder's unwavering commitment to Doing Good While Doing Well®. It has grown through the collective dedication of our employees, who are encouraged to participate in philanthropic and charitable causes. The program focuses primarily on youth development and education, hunger relief, and strengthening our local communities.
Our Social Programs
CareyTogether reflects our collective efforts to champion a culture where every individual can thrive. Rooted in our core value that “our people are our most important asset,” the program encourages employees to come together as a community, respecting and celebrating each other through cultural celebrations, company-wide events and other shared moments that build connection and belonging.

Our CareyWellness program offers employees opportunities to engage in activities that support their overall health and wellness through hands-on workshops and educational seminars on topics like stress management, sleep strategies and more. We are proud to provide some of the most robust and inclusive benefits in our industry that reflect the diverse needs of our workforce.
Supporting Our Communities
Our commitment to Doing Good While Doing Well® is reflected in how we work, how we treat one another, and the way we contribute to and connect with our communities. Together with the W. P. Carey Foundation, we support a wide range of organizations through charitable giving and employee volunteering. From museums and hospitals to public parks, hunger relief efforts, educational programs and restoration projects, the examples below represent just a few of the many organizations we're proud to support.
City Harvest
We were proud to once again support City Harvest as a sponsor of the 2025 Share Lunch Fight Hunger campaign. Employees packaged produce for distribution through community food programs. In addition, our employee donations, together with support from W. P. Carey Inc. and the W. P. Carey Foundation, will feed over 800 NYC children and their families this summer.
Plastic Whale
Employees in our Amsterdam office once again partnered with Plastic Whale for a “plastic fishing tour,” where they used nets to gather litter from the canals. The plastic is recycled into boats, which can be used for future plastic fishing and furniture. Our Amsterdam office features a beautiful chair made from plastic fished from the canals!
Little Village
Employees in our London office partnered with Little Village, an organization that supports families with young children living in poverty, for a volunteer event at one of their baby banks. The team sorted clothing, fixed toys and packed gift boxes for families in need.
Gift of Adoption
We are proud to support the Gift of Adoption Fund, an organization whose mission is to provide adoption assistance grants to complete the adoptions of children in vulnerable circumstances—giving them permanent families and a chance to thrive. We’re thrilled to play a small role in helping children find their forever families.
NL Cares
Employees in our Amsterdam office spent the afternoon with seniors in a local nursing home, creating flower arrangements with the residents and sharing great conversations. We were glad to bring a little extra color and joy to their everyday spaces!
