Susan C. Hyde is a Managing Director and serves as Chief Administrative Officer, Chief Ethics Officer and Corporate Secretary. Ms. Hyde joined W. P. Carey in 1990 and has held a series of leadership roles across the company during her tenure. She was appointed Chief Administrative Officer in 2017, having previously served as Chief Marketing Officer and Director of Investor Relations. She is a member of W. P. Carey’s Operating Committee and serves as Co-Chair of its ESG Committee. 

In her current role, Ms. Hyde oversees various departments, including Investor Relations Operations, Integrated Communications, Human Resources, Legal, Office Management and Special Events. Ms. Hyde also leads CareyForward, W. P. Carey’s corporate and employee philanthropic program, which reflects the company’s long-standing commitment to Doing Good While Doing Well®.

Ms. Hyde graduated from Villanova University, where she received a B.Sc. in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and a B.A. in English. She is an Advisory Director of the W. P. Carey Foundation.
