Grace Wolf
Corporate Responsibility Analyst
I am a Corporate Responsibility Analyst at W. P. Carey. One part of my role focuses on ESG Reporting and how to best communicate all of the amazing work W. P. Carey is doing across Environmental, Social and Governance initiatives to our key audiences. This involves making sure our disclosures are accurate and aligned with regulatory requirements, as well as staying informed on changing regulations.
The other part of my role involves analyzing the sustainability data we receive from our tenants, which contributes to our emissions calculation process. I’m also working on initiatives to help streamline and automate data analysis.
I really enjoy how diverse my responsibilities are and how every day I’m tackling a new challenge – it keeps things interesting!
Describe your career journey.
I majored in Economics at the University of North Carolina and completed a concentration program in Quantitative Finance. I also minored in Environmental Science and Environmental Justice.
When I was seeking out internships, I was always really interested in combining my passion for sustainability with my interest in analytics and business. I worked as a Sustainable Markets Intern at an investment bank, an intern at a marine lab where I studied coral health and invasive species management, and as an Electric Vehicle Policy Analyst.
In the summer of 2024, I had the opportunity to work at W. P. Carey as a Sustainability Intern, which I felt was a perfect encapsulation of all of my unique interests and experiences. I loved everyone I worked with and felt very fulfilled by the work I was doing, so I was thrilled when I was asked to come back full-time!
What’s the best part about WPC?
One of my favorite parts about working at W. P. Carey is that it is a constant learning experience. People here are not siloed – it’s super collaborative and everyone is always excited to share what they’re working on. It’s also a place where you can always ask questions, which has been so helpful. I feel like I’ve learned more at W. P. Carey in my first few months than I did in my last few years of school!
What do you think it takes to succeed at WPC?
You definitely have to be a self-starter. The company encourages people to be innovative and think outside the box, which gives you a lot of creative freedom in your role.
