China EMBA Program
The W. P. Carey Executive MBA China Program was launched in 2003 through a collaboration of the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University and the Shanghai National Accounting Institute (which was founded by the former premier Zhu Rongji) with the Chinese Ministry of Finance.
- The W. P. Carey EMBA represents the first partnership between a U.S. business school and the Chinese government on Chinese soil and currently has three branches in Beijing, Shanghai and Xiamen.
- In its 7th year, the EMBA Program has graduated 400+ students and was ranked in the top 50 international EMBA programs by The Financial Times in 2008 and 2009.
- Current and previous students include the highest-level executives from Shanghai’s largest State-Owned Enterprises, many in the financial sector.
- In March 2009, two students of the program were awarded “2008 Chinese CFO of the Year," a prestigious recognition given to 10 CFOs of Chinese-listed companies each year.
