Mr. Pasanen joined the investment department of W.P. Carey in May 2011 and was made Associate in 2012. Prior to W. P. Carey, Mr. Pasanen was responsible for building out the e-commerce business at a start-up digital media company. Prior to that, he worked at Piper Jaffray & Co. in their Healthcare Investment Banking Division. Mr. Pasanen graduated cum laude from Brown University with a B.A. in Public and Private Sector Organizations, now known as Commerce, Organizations and Entrepreneurship. He is also a graduate from Groton School in Groton, MA.
Additionally, Mr. Pasanen was a member of the Brown Men’s Tennis Team and competed on the ATP Futures Tour.
