Yvonne Cheng joined W. P. Carey in 2003 and is responsible for project investment / financing strategy, investment / financial analysis, valuation and asset management for W. P. Carey Asia. Ms. Cheng is also in charge of project development and asset management reporting.
Prior to joining the Asia team, Ms. Cheng was the head of the firm’s International Asset Management Group, with assets under management (AUM) exceeding $3BN. Before joining W. P. Carey, Yvonne worked in investment banking at Merrill Lynch in the Telecommunications, Media and Technology Group and in equity research at Credit Suisse, covering the wireless equipment sector.
Ms. Cheng holds a bachelor’s degree from Yale University with a double major in Economics and Chinese, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
