Mr. Stones joined W. P. Carey & Co. B.V. in the firm's Amsterdam office in December 2008. Educated in law at the University of Sheffield and Juridiska Faculteten Uppsala, Mr. Stones is a specialist in the field of entity and board level management and administration.
Mr. Stones has an international background covering Belgium, Sweden, France, Ireland, and Scotland where he worked for the firm Aberdeen Asset Management Plc. He has been responsible for the administration and compliance of some of the UK’s largest publicly listed investment trusts. Mr. Stones is a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of the UK and has a keen interest in sports. In the past, he competed on the club, university and country-levels in track for 200m and 400m.
