Steven Liu joined W. P. Carey in 2009. He is responsible for investment feasibility and financial analysis, due diligence, transaction structuring and business development.
Prior to joining W. P. Carey, Mr. Liu was the Head of Risk Management, China with GE Capital where he developed, implemented and maintained processes to assess risk exposure in various dimensions of GE Capital's investments including funds, direct acquisitions, pre-IPO financing, debt financing, public security and joint venture development, and was also responsible for asset management to track and monitor portfolio and deal performance. Mr. Liu has also served as Director of Capital Markets for Cushman & Wakefield.
Mr. Liu holds a Masters in asset appraisal and management from the University of Sheffield. He is a member of the Appraisal Institute, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the CCIM Institute.
