Mr. Coolidge was elected to the Board of Directors of W. P. Carey & Co. LLC in 2002 and currently serves as Chairman of the Investment Committee. Mr. Coolidge, former Senior Vice President of John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Company, retired in 1996 after 23 years of service. From 1986 to 1996, Mr. Coolidge headed the bond and corporate finance department, which was responsible for managing its entire fixed income investments portfolio. Prior to 1986, Mr. Coolidge served as Second Vice President and Vice President. Mr. Coolidge is a graduate of Harvard University and served as a U.S. naval officer.
