Kevin Zhang joined W. P. Carey in 2010 and is responsible for investment/financial analysis, due diligence and research.
Prior to joining W. P. Carey, Mr. Zhang published multiple research papers in leading academic journals and also developed a framework to monitor and measure systematic risk in the U.S. financial system in a project sponsored by Morgan Stanley. He received the “Li Ka Shing Best Thesis Award” at the University of Hong Kong in 2007. Mr. Zhang was also actively involved in quantitative finance research at the Sloan School of Management during his study at MIT.
Mr. Zhang holds a bachelor’s degree from Tianjin University, an M.Phil. from the University of Hong Kong, and a Ph.D. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
