NEW YORK, NY – April 3, 2003– Wm. Polk Carey, Chairman and Co-CEO of investment firm W. P. Carey & Co. LLC (NYSE:WPC) rang the New York Stock Exchange Closing Bell on Thursday, April 3rd in commemoration of the 30th Anniversary of the company’s founding in 1973.  Mr. Carey was joined by President and Co-CEO Gordon F. DuGan, Vice Chairman Francis J. Carey, Chief Investment Officer George E. Stoddard and Chief Financial Officer John J. Park.
