Ralph van der Beek joined W. P. Carey in November 2010 in the International Asset Management Group as Asset Manager and was made Director in 2013. Prior to joining the firm, he started his career at DTZ in the real estate valuations department. He then worked for the Dutch asset and investment manager Ping Properties, as a transactional asset manager.

Ralph is originally from the Netherlands. He received a B.Sc. in Social Geography and Urban Planning and a M.Sc. in Real Estate from the University of Groningen. Later he attended the Amsterdam School of Real Estate. He is a keen skier and a native German speaker.
