Mr. Pack joined the Investments department in 2007 after receiving an MBA from Columbia Business School.  Mr. Pack joined W. P. Carey and served as Executive Director of the W. P. Carey Foundation beginning in 2001.  As Executive Director, Mr. Pack managed the Foundation and wrote the terms creating the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University as well as the Carey Business School at Johns Hopkins University, two gifts totaling $100 million.  Mr. Pack serves on the boards of the W. P. Carey Foundation, the Young Leaders board of the Manhattan Institute and as a Young Lion of the New York Public Library.  Mr. Pack received a B.A. in Political Science from Johns Hopkins University, where he was twice elected President of the Student Body.
